1. We Have School This Week
School Day: This week's school is on Friday, January 13, 2011. Start Time: 6:30 pm
GYM Usage: Small gym is available to US. But the "big" gym is NOT!

Next school day is January 20, 2012 (refer to School Calendar).
Editor's note: In last week's newsletter, Mr. Weiping Sun discovered an error regarding the year of the next school session (2011 insetad of 2011) and pointed out to the team. We would like to appreciate his effort. Thanks, Weiping. Good catch!


  (1) PCCLC Chinese New Year Celebration - Two Weeks Away
Dear students, teachers and parents,
PCCLC New Year's party is only two weeks away (January 28, 2010). During the past couple of weeks, many students, teachers and parents have worked hard on preparation of this exiting event. Let us work even harder now that we are closer to the finish. We are certain you will put on a great show. Thanks so much!

  (2) Spring Semester Tuitions & GYM Fees - Pay as soon as possible
*Tuition: Spring semester will start on Jan. 20, 2012. For those parents who have not paid the tuition for your kid(s) for the spring semester, please go to the on-duty desk to make your payment by the start of the semester, that is, Jan. 20, 2012. A $10 late fee will be applied if one has not paid the tuition.
 
*Gym fee: Gym fee will also be collected beginning this week. If one plans to use gym during the Spring semester, please go to the on-duty desk to make your payment at your earliest convenience.

  (3) STA Class
We have SAT math class this Friday.
 
  (4) This Week's Principle On-Duty
Kevin Liand Yinong Shenare the Co-Principals On-Duty for this week (1/13/2012). Xiaoling Chen and Rui Li will be the Co-Principals On-Duty for next school day (1/20/2012).

  (1) Canton International Festival
Canton International Festival is next Saturday, January 21, 2012. Several groups including ones from PCCLC will represent Chinese communities to perform on stage. Details are below,
Date: January 21, 2012
Time: 11;00 am to 4:00 pm
Time for Chinese Performance: starting 2:00 pm (PCCLC sponsored segments from 3:00 to 3:15 pm)
Cost: $2.00 (must be five year or older)
Location: Village Theater at Cherry Hill,
50400 Cherry Hill Road, Canton, MI 48187
 
This is an event for the community. PCCLC Administration Team encourages students and parent to participate. Event schedule and introduction to Chinese performance are posted on PCCLC web site.
